Working with Subaru cluster files
Subaru coverage follows the model generations closely. The Impreza, Forester, Legacy and Outback each appear across several densities, moving from 93C46 and 93C56 on the older cars up through 93C76 and 93C86 on the 2015-onwards range. The XV tracks the same path across three entries.
The newer clusters are where it gets specific. The 2019 Impreza and XV, the 2020 Ascent and the 2020 Legacy all use RH86 or 93C86 memory in an MSOP package, which needs the right clip and a steady hand. Three older entries — the G3X Justy, the Liberty and one Impreza — use L56R or LR56 parts instead.
Read the chip yourself, upload the binary, and XEEPROM sends back the recalculated file.
Your Subaru model is not on the list?
Send us the dump. If the file can be worked out, our team adds the program and it goes live for everyone. Tell us the model and the memory type and we will come back to you.
